Our Policy on Your Privacy

We want you to know that when you browse our site we do not take any personal information from you, or of your browsing habits. You may of course choose to send us send us information about yourself via our contact form.

Cookies are small text files, saved on your computer, that can be used by websites to facilitate the functions of the website and/or (by some websites) to gather information about the user and their browsing habits (also known as tracking cookies). Functional uses of cookies can be essential or non-essential.

The Law

New European legislation is now in force to ensure that web users are aware of which cookies are being set on their computers and given the opportunity to consent to their use.

The law states that we can store cookies on your machine if they are essential to the operation of this site but that for all others we need your permission to store them.

More information about the legislation relating to cookies can be found at www.ico.gov.uk.

By providing this information to you on arrival to the site (via the Cookie Control popup), we take it as implied that you consent to our use of cookies if you continue to use this site.

How we use cookies on this site

We use cookies to improve users' experience of our web site. We set a minimum of cookies which allows us to gather stats on the number and location of users. This is to help us assess how well used the site is being used, which pages users are looking at, and which pages are not being used. We will use this data to improve the site (eg by altering pages and page content). Web stats are generated for us by Google, using their Google Analytics service (see below).

We also use cookies in our Contact form. This is to help increase security by ensuring that only people, and not malware, can use our Contact form (using the reCaptcha code at the bottom of the form).

Some of the cookies used for the above processes can be regarded as useful, but non-essential, for the functions of the site.

If you want to delete any cookies that are already on your computer, you can find instructions for your browser here.

How we do not use cookies on this site

We do not use them to identify you or gather personal information about you or about your browsing habits.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics, a web stats service provided by Google, Inc. Google Analytics uses cookies to help us to analyse how all users use the site. It counts the number of visitors and tells us things about their behaviour overall - such as the typical length of stay on the site or the average number of pages a user views.

Please refer to Google's privacy policies for details of how they use web stats data.
